چکیده
The study aims to apply multicriteria mathematical model determine the optimal honeybee colony's location in regions without overpopulation. approach including two optimization criteria: 1) One criterion maximizes beekeeper's desire distribute bee colonies certain places. 2) other minimizes possibility some not be able fully nourished. Pareto solutions have been found proposed model. In first decision, a higher value of is observed, ie wishes regarding hives are given priority over non-fed hives. second solution, greater feeding colonies, as result which number has decreased. also applied on real apiculture example experimental apiaries Batishnica region (50 km far from Ruse) overpopulation studied area. distribution places found. From fact that area overpopulation, it follows all beehives will fed and practically task one-criteria, with potential

Pathogen Webs in Collapsing Honey Bee Colonies
Recent losses in honey bee colonies are unusual in their severity, geographical distribution, and, in some cases, failure to present recognized characteristics of known disease. Domesticated honey bees face numerous pests and pathogens, tempting hypotheses that colony collapses arise from exposure to new or resurgent pathogens. Here we explore the incidence and abundance of currently known hone...

Honey bees face numerous biotic threats from viruses to bacteria, fungi, protists, and mites. Here we describe a thorough analysis of microbes harbored by worker honey bees collected from field colonies in geographically distinct regions of Turkey. Turkey is one of the World's most important centers of apiculture, harboring five subspecies of Apis mellifera L., approximately 20% of the honey be...
متن کاملHoney Bee Colonies Remote Monitoring System
Bees are very important for terrestrial ecosystems and, above all, for the subsistence of many crops, due to their ability to pollinate flowers. Currently, the honey bee populations are decreasing due to colony collapse disorder (CCD). The reasons for CCD are not fully known, and as a result, it is essential to obtain all possible information on the environmental conditions surrounding the beeh...
متن کاملRetrospective study of the Nosema ceranae infection of honey bee colonies in Iran (2004-2013)
Nosemosis is the most common disease in adult bees. Nosema apis and Nosema ceranae species are agents of important economic losses to beekeepers around the world. The severity of disease at various area is different. Previously, N. apis was observed in areas with a long winter, especially in late winter and early spring. But in recent years, disease has been reported in the warm seasons. The st...
متن کاملA population model for the ectoparasitic mite Varroa jacobsoni in honey bee (Apis mellifera) colonies
The ectoparasitic mite Varroa jacobsoni Oud. presently poses one of the most serious problems faced by keepers of honeybees Apis mellifera L. To help understand why the mite has become such a serious problem a population dynamics model using recently published data has been constructed. The simulation model has been built by linking together various aspects of the mites’ biology using computer ...
